First Friday Fellowship at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport MA

This is the food from the First Friday Fellowship at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport MA.

I believe the food theme is Philippines. Unfortunately I did not write it down. It could be another country - a different port of call (a port of call being the place where the sailing ships came from when the dock in Newburyport MA - which used to have a seaport [now the only boats that dock in Newburyport are pleasure boats, tour boats or fishing boats]). It might have been Turkey?

This is food from the First Friday Fellowship at the Custom House Maritime Museum for February of 2018. The food was prepared by Sheila Kataria Mullins; a member and professional personal chef. She does a great job.

This is chicken wings.

This is lentil and potato curry.

This is rice. I am not sure if it just rice or if something was added.

This is sweet potato and pineapple bake with cheese sauce.

I did not get to try any of the food since there was a lot of people attending the event and those who came later did not get any food since the food ran out. There was a limited budget for the food and one never really knows how many are actually going to show up. The museum is small and does not hold a lot of people but it does have a lot of information / interesting displays for being its size.

This is the topic of the lecture that was after the food was consumed.
