Bird Dog at Buffalo Wings plus

My brother and I ate at the Buffalo Wild Wings place. I believe it was in Portsmouth NH. It was a nice place. It wasn't crowded.

Here is the bird dog sandwich that I ordered. It was really good. It is chicken tenders on a hot dog bun. There was a delicious honey barbecue sauce that was top of it. It wasn't easy to eat but definitely worth the effort.

This was the beer battered onion rings that I ordered. It was really good. I believe the dip was Ranch. It was good for the onion rings. It really added to the flavor. I ran out of dip before I ran out of onion rings.

This was the variety of wings that my brother ordered. He also had the beer battered onion rings. He couldn't finish all of those wings. I had a couple and they were good.

We used a coupon that a friend gave me. It helped pay for the meal.

The downside of the restaurant was the atmosphere. There was a central bar that we were not interested in. They had some odd music playing. I didn't mind the televisions that played / showed a variety of things.

Eggs Benedict at Hebert's

Once a month, the men at the church I go to have breakfast at Hebert's restaurant. It is a great place to have it ( the prices are good and the service is good too).

On 2023, 11 04, We met there at 9 AM. This is what I had. I like to have the specials but they didn't list any at the entrance. They used to have different specials but not this time.

They have a paper menu that is also the placemat. I ordered the eggs Benedict (pictured above). It is sauce on fried eggs on meat on English muffins. It has a side of home fries. It was cooked very well. It was delicious. The sauce was not too much (when it is, I use it on the home fries - even better than ketchup).

I usually get the tea. They have New England tea which is very good. I put two creamer into it.

The service there is really good. They are very attentive.

I found the prices there to be quite reasonable. One doesn't have to spend a lot of money there to get good food or service.

My English Breakfast Experiment

Ever since I had an English breakfast on board the Norwegian Cruise Line Pearl at the restaurant O'Shearns, I have been trying to make it myself (the breakfast and not the cruise line or the restaurant). The below is one of my attempts.

I cooked up some fried eggs. I put a little butter on the frying pan to keep it from sticking and give it some flavor. I then put some salt (Himalayan) and ground pepper on it. I flipped it over (not always successfully). I put it on the plate.

I then cook up two hash browns. I think it tastes better fried and has a nice crunch to it. I get them frozen from the grocery store.

I then cook up some canned meat. My favorite is Spam. They have a few flavors but only some are at the grocery store. I put three slices on the grill. I think they are really good fried (one can eat them out of the can since it is already cooked).

I put the hash browns on the plate, then a slice of American cheese (I like American cheese and it is what I had on hand) then the Spam on top of that. The heat from the cooked hash browns and Spam help heat and melt the cheese.

Part of the English breakfast on the cruise was baked beans. I had put some in a bowl and heated it in the microwave. It was warm and tasty. It wasn't their no sugar added beans (which is really good) but the regular baked beans.

I didn't have any tomatoes on had or mushrooms; which was another part of the English breakfast but I didn't mind since what I had was really filling.

I am not a professional (or even an amateur cook) but I do like to cook and eat what I cook. This is just some of my attempts at cooking.
