Lobster Macaroni and Cheese at Mr Mac's in Portsmouth NH

I had supper at Mr Mac's. It is located n Route 1 in Portsmouth NH. It is a nice restaurant with lots of seating area and friendly staff. It is easy to see from the road when travelling on Route 1. They have a big variety of macaroni and cheese. One can eat in or take it home.

Here is the outside of Mr. Mac's. There was ample parking area. 

Here is the lobster macaroni and cheese. The lobster meat was big pieces and not shredded parts. The seasoning made it taste great. I went with the medium size. It was big. I should have gone with the small size since it is enough for one person. The medium was very filling. I almost could not eat all of it. The cheese was just the right amount. It was not drowning in cheese like some places. One can see two slices of lemon on top. It was a nice garnish. It is on a wooden plate since the metal pot is really hot. There is a rubber sleeve on the handle in case one need to move it.

Buffalo Chicken Macaroni Cheese at the Carry Out Cafe in Newburyport MA

I had lunch at the Buffalo chicken macaroni cheese at the Carry Out Cafe in Newburyport MA. The carry out cafe is a nice little place. It is just off the route one circle in Newburyport MA. One can eat in - nice dining area - or take it to go. They have both hot food and cold food - in ice boxes. The people who work are nice and friendly.

It was warm and delicious. It was not too spicy hot. It had some good flavor. It had chicken strips. It was a good amount. This was good amount for a lunch. It was creamy and cheesy. It had a really good flavor. 

I had lunch there before. At that time, I had the meatloaf. It was really good. I went to help funds for a local cat rescue; M.R.F.R.S.

Ribs and Appetizer at T.G.I.Friday's in Methuen MA

I had supper at T.G.I. Friday's in Methuen MA. I went there after seeing a movie. It is in the parking lot of a mall; one with a movie theater. It was really nice inside. There was a lot of tables. It was a nice decor and pleasant atmosphere. The service was really good.

This is the spinach and Queso dip. The chips were nice. It came with a salsa dip and guacamole dip. I used the spoon to put it on the chips. It was crunchy and delicious. It wasn't so big that it kept me from eating my entree. It seems a lot of restaurants have appetizers that are way to big - in my opinion. 

This is the Jack Daniel's ribs. I chose the option of sweet potato fries and Cole Slaw. They indicate the meat falls off the bone. It was delicious and the meat did fall off the bone. I used the sauce to dip the meat into and the potato fries. The sweet potato fries was delicious. I think they are better than regular fries. The Cole slaw was really good. I find the Cole slaw at other places have too much vinegar. This did not.

Greek Omelet and Hash Browns at Angie's Food of Newburyport MA

I had brunch with my brother at a nice place in Newburyport MA called Angie's Food and Diner. It is a nice place with friendly people working there. It reminds me of a diner that I went to when I lived in NJ. There are some diners here in NH and MA but most are not what I would call real diners. I like the place since they have comfort foods and a nice variety on the menu.

There is street parking but no designate parking area's or parking structure (they are working on a parking garage for Newburyport MA and I hope they make it).

This is the Greek omelet. I never had one before but I am glad I did. It is a three egg omelet with tomatoes and feta cheese. It costs a little more to add loukaniko. I was told that it is a Greek sausage. I added it. I am glad I did. It tasted great together. It chose the option of having home fries and whole wheat toast. It was good.

Here is the hash browns. I shared it with my brother who was there having brunch with me. It was good. It is something I would order it again. It does not look like much but it makes up for it in taste.

Marmite?

I saw a show (more of a documentary) where they showed problems encountered by the British. They mentioned Marmite. They said it is something people of Britain enjoyed that is not normally found elsewhere. It seemed very interesting.

I found a jar of it at a shop in Newburyport MA. They seem to have two sizes. I bought the smaller one. The smaller one cost $7.95.

The shop is called The Best of British. It is  small store with some really nice items relating to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.  The people there are friendly. The shop is located in the historic town of Newburyport MA. The shop not only has food but also clothing and collectibles and books and other items related to the British isles.

I opened it. It smelled nice and unique. I tried some on plain toast and on toast with butter. It tasted nice either way. 

There seems to be a Facebook page on Marmite. One site indicated one could find recipes for it.

Forkchops; Part Fork / Knife and Part Chopstick

I found something that can be used as a pair of chopsticks or can be used as a knife and fork. I think it is really neat. If a person don't want to use it as a chopstick or unable to use it as a chopsticks, one just turn it around and use the fork and knife to eat with. It is like a fork and knife with long handles. The tongs are short as well as the knife. The knife is not sharp since it is plastic. I think not being sharp adds to the safety of its use. It is called forkchops.

I think it is neat that it comes in a variety of colors. I bought a few of them in different colors. 

It was neat to use as both chopsticks and as a knife and fork. I like using the chopsticks while eating non-Asian foods and use the knife and fork while Asian foods (somethings just easier to eat with a fork). I wish it was a spoon and a fork instead of a knife and fork. I will suggest it to them the next time I go to their page (which I just did and am waiting a response).

Normally I post things I have eaten but this is about something that I use to eat things with. It is different and useful.

Chicken Bacon BBQ Snack Melt and Dilly Bar at Dairy Queen

I had the chicken bacon BBQ snack melt and a no sugar added Dilly bar at a Dairy Queen. It is one that has both hot and cold foods. One could get the whole meal at this Diary Queen. Some places are listed as 'Grill and Chill'. The one I went had outside seating but no inside seating. They had a medium size parking area. It was easy to see from the road. It did not indicate - of what I saw of the sign - they had hot foods.

Here is the chicken bacon BBQ snack melt. It was warm and delicious. It was snack size. It is great for when one wants to eat something that doesn't fill like a full meal. The crust was nice but not too crunchy and it wasn't greasy. The BBQ was very flavorful. 

Here is the no sugar added Dilly bar. It was really good. As a diabetic, I usually go for the no sugar added items since 'regular' ice cream has a lot of sugar in it. This did not. It was really good. The chocolate covering was really good. It was the right size. It was not too filling. 

The Dairy Queen I went to is also an Orange Julius and is in Ipswich MA.
